Although a slight decline of three percent compared to 2017 levels, the total investment for 2018 still shows a recovery from the 10-year low of US$71.0 billion in 2016. US$36.5 billion was invested in 66 transport projects in 2017, compared to US$18.9 billion invested in 2016.
